In high school I realised my dream job was to help people be healthier. That's when I decided I wanted to be a dietitian.
I thought the way to do this was to work out the calorie of content of foods, develop a meal plan and tell people what to eat more of and less of.
Instead, experience has taught me our realtionship towards food is much more complex.
I now understand there is a spectrum of people wanting to learn about nutrition science and those who have the knowledge and want to improve their food behaviour.
Having used food to cope with difficult emotions myself I have great empathy for my clients who want to improve their relationship towards food.
I want to support you with your goals.
Whether that is expanding your food knowledge or creating a new relationship towards food and body acceptance
